Medical Insurance
Students are required to carry medical insurance. Most students carry insurance from their own countries. If you do not have insurance, once admitted to Maui Language Institute you will be able to obtain coverage through HTH Worldwide (University of Hawaii group policy).

Scholarships Students are eligible to apply for scholarships once they qualify to attend the credit program. Scholarship information is available under "UHMC Merit Scholarship Program for International Students" on the following site: http://maui.hawaii.edu/financial/?page_id=1816
Housing
Students arrange their own housing. There are many options within commuting distance including hostels, Bed and Breakfasts, condos, etc. Those who wish to be close to campus may contact:
- Kulanaa`o Campus Apartments, Kahului, Maui (10 mins on foot)
- The Maui Beach Hotel, Kahului, Maui (5 mins on foot)
