Aloha MLI!

As you may know, this is the end of my journey on Maui. I am leaving on July 27th. But, it was impossible for me to leave without letting you know how deep MLI and everybody related changed my life. I became someone I like. I am now a confident young woman who knows more what she wants in life. I also know what kind of people I want to be surrounded by. I've learned so much about me during the 7 months I've been on Maui. I also see school differently now. I know it can be fun. I had a lot of fun going to MLI. But I wouldn't have had that fun without all the wonderful people I met here. I'd like to say a special thank you to Alice who helped me a lot in my work for my scholarship and for her hard work during the semesters. I'm glad I came to that school. It's the best thing I've done in my life and I would do it again anytime. I also want to say a special thank you to Steve.

Steve, tu es une des personnes les plus importantes pour moi sur l'îsle et surtout dans ma vie. Ja n'ai jamais rencontré quelqu'un comme toi et tu n'as aucune idée à quel point je t'admire et j'ai du respect pour toi. J'aimerais un jour suivre tes traces et être comme toi; apprécier les petites choses et être en parfaite santé mentale comme toi. Tu respires l'harmonie mentale!! Et c'est contagieux! Je me sens si proche de toi, j'ai l'impression que tu es de ma famille. Je sais que je pourrai toujours compter sur toi. Tu es un grande homme de parole et de confiance. Maui est chanceuse de t'avoir pour aider tout le monde. Tu vas tellement, tellement, tellement me manquer. Je t'aime de tout mon coeur et tu es mon ami pour la vie.

I met here the best people I ever met in my life and the best friends I will ever have. I will never forget you guys. NEVER! I hope you won't forget me either. Thank you so much for everything. I am proud of what I accomplished and of my English level. I love you with all my heart.
